Dr. Carly Mattson is trained with the most current concussion research and management strategies. She works with acute and chronic concussions, and offers baseline testing for athletes and sports teams. Each patient is managed with an individualized recovery program.

Shauna is a registered physiotherapist with a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. Originally from Calgary, she completed her undergraduate studies in Halifax, earning a double major in Neuroscience and Spanish. During this time, she developed a strong interest in the connection between brain development and movement. After graduation, she spent a year volunteering at a pediatric-focused physiotherapy clinic, where she discovered her love for working with children. This experience inspired her to pursue a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, where she gained extensive experience through multiple pediatric placements.
Shauna has experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, helping them achieve a wide range of movement goals. Whether guiding parents to support their infant’s milestones or assisting young athletes in returning to sport after an injury, she brings care and enthusiasm to every session. She enjoys working with infants who may have a preference for looking in one direction (torticollis), flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly), or delays in rolling, crawling, or walking. She also has a special interest in working with kids with diverse abilities and has experience supporting children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, congenital anomalies, muscular dystrophies, and more. Additionally, she helps autistic children work on motor goals such as improving coordination (DCD), strength, and movement patterns like toe walking.
Shauna loves the flexibility and creativity that come with working in pediatrics. She thrives on the challenge of making every session engaging and fun, ensuring that every child—whether an infant or a teenager—has a great time at physio. Outside of work, Shauna moved to the Sunshine Coast for her love of the outdoors and enjoys trail running, gravel biking, and gardening. Jenna graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour program in 2013 and is a member of the College of Massage Therapy of BC. Starting her massage education at Vancouver School of Healing Arts in 2009, Jenna has a strong background of holistic health and bodywork and applies her relaxation methods throughout her RMT practice.
Starting every treatment with a thorough assessment and plan for each patient, Jenna incorporates Swedish techniques, Myofascial release, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy into her massages. Her goals for every treatment is to be effective and meet her patients’ needs yet maintain an overall balance of well being. Sid provides a trauma-informed, nervous system-based approach to their massage therapy practice. After completing their 2 year training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in Portland OR in 2012, they graduated from the 2700 hour RMT program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2017.
As a queer, non-binary professional, Sid focuses on creating a strong relational container for their clients. They genuinely care for people, and prioritize holding safe space for people of all genders and sizes. They approach their work from a Health At Every Size perspective and provide body-neutral, gender-affirming care.

Co-owner and founder of Coastline Health and Performance. Dr. Jilesen grew up in Ontario, where he completed a Bachelor’s of science in Kinesiology at Mcmaster University. His desire to continue studying human movement lead him to Chiropractic, and completing his Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Upon graduating he decided to make the move west and his passion for the outdoors eventually lead him to the Sunshine Coast.
Dr. Jilesen has taken extensive additional education in joint mobility training, shoulder rehab, gait assessment, hip and foot biomechanics, nerve entrapment treatment, and soft tissue therapy. He has become passionate about human movement and helping people achieve their goals. His treatment includes a combination of joint manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. He actively promotes exercise and strives to give his patients the tools to help themselves recover faster, move better, and feel stronger.
As an outdoors enthusiast, he still leads an active lifestyle skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, surfing, hiking, and weight lifting. Co-owner and founder of Coastline Health and Performance. Dr. Mattson grew up on Vancouver Island, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sports Health and Physical Education. After spending a couple more years working for BC Wildfire, she decided to return to school, completing her Doctor of Chiropractic at The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Dr. Mattson’s practice focuses on concussion management, pregnancy and postpartum care. She is certified with Complete Concussion Management, which is an evidence-based concussion management program, and has taken additional training in pregnancy care and postpartum rehab. Her treatments include a combination of joint manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. She promotes exercise and active care. Dr. Mattson grew up in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, where she was involved in many sports. Her focus was as a competitive swimmer, waterpolo player, swimming instructor and a lifeguard. She still leads an active lifestyle rock climbing, surfing, hiking and weight lifting. It was through sports injuries she discovered the benefit of chiropractic care. She combined her love for the human body and rehabilitation and decided to pursue a career in chiropractic.
Prior to starting chiropractic school, Dr. Mattson worked for the Ministry of Forests as a Wildfire Dispatcher, and then as a wildfire fire fighter. Dr. Mattson also enjoys traveling. She has backpacked across Australia, New Zealand and Thailand (twice!). She traveled to Botswana, Africa for 1 month in June 2015 to volunteer with World Spine Care, where she taught exercise classes and patient rehabilitation alongside licensed Chiropractors. Back at CMCC, she was the president of the Global Health Initiative Club, which brings awareness and support to organizations that promote spinal health around the world.
Her involvement in global health, her extra-curricular volunteering, and her passion for patient-centered care, lead her to be awarded several awards while at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

Beth Nanson is a Registered Dietitian (RD) in BC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Health (Honours, Major in Dietetics) from the University of British Columbia. She then completed her dietetic internship with Vancouver Coastal Health, and graduated in 2019.
Born and raised in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, Beth naturally holds an outgoing and enthusiastic attitude, which has made the outpatient setting an ideal place to work. Tristan grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he began his journey in massage therapy. After completing a 650 hour training program in 2009, he moved to Vancouver and went through the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster. Since 2012, he has worked at clinics in Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Vancouver, mainlyly focusing on recovery from repetitive strain injuries and trauma from motor vehicle accidents. Tristan has been teaching classes on neurological treatment, spinal pathologies, and general assessment of patients at Vancouver Career College Massage Therapy program since 2017.
